Nigerian winger Felix Obada and Senegalese defender Mor Diouf have attracted European interest backed by their encouraging form this season at Maritzburg United.
Obada – who is also believed to have gotten two Gauteng clubs sniffing – has been a menace down the wings while Diouf has not only stood firm at the back but has used his height to good effective in set-pieces scoring three goals so far.
KickOff.com has been told that Obada (22) has some Belgian and Scandinavian interest while Diouf (23) is being tracked by a French club.
Farouk Kadodia, the Maritzburg chairman insists it has been mere enquiries at this stage.
"There have been mere enquiries about our players but we haven't received anything official so that means nothing to us for now. Until we have official communication then it is mere talk," says Kadodia.
Both players are still under contract with Maritzburg for at least another year and Ian Palmer will not be keen on losing them.
