Thidiela finds midfielder in Swaziland

Black Leopards Thidiela finds midfielder in Swaziland

Posted: 3 January 2012 Time: 1:18 pm

Black Leopards owner David Thidiela was recently in Swaziland and was impressed with the football he saw, as well as a certain midfielder named Vusi Madinane.

The Lidoda Duvha boss was at Somhlolo National Stadium to watch the FixedFone Cup final between Malanti Chiefs and Green Mamba this past weekend.

"I am impressed with what I see here. The football is good and the players are talented. I have spotted some players who can do well in South Africa," Thidiela says.

While Thidiela said he could not release any names of players that he was interested in, KickOff.com understands that Malanti Chiefs midfielder Vusi Madinane (28), who played the game of his life, is on the radar.

In 2009 Madinane, who is a South African, had a successful trial with Platinum Stars and was signed, but did not take the PSL by storm.

The one-time City Pillars player had been unsuccessful with Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns before that.
