New Orlando Pirates signing William Twala has ability says FC AK teammate

Kapowezha: I have no doubt in Twala

Posted: 2012-01-03 10:53

New Orlando Pirates signing, William Twala, may be unknown to many, but teammate at FC AK Elasto Kapowezha says he has the ability and should be treated carefully.

By recalling the talented midfielder from his loan at FCAK, Pirates effectively made their first 'signing' of the January transfer window.

The 21-year old has been a standout performer in the First Division side's midfield, but Kapowezha says he must be treated with caution.

"This is a difficult move for any player, but William is a talented kid and this will be a healthy challenge for him although I am not sure of the timing," the former AmaZulu player says.

"He is currently one of the best players in this league (the NFD) and I have no doubt that he has the talent to fit into any PSL club, but Pirates are in the world of their own right now and he will need support from everyone there.

"Maybe they will not be looking at playing him right now, they may look at playing him in the future," Kapowezha continued.

Twala can play in central midfield or out wide, according to Kapowezha, which could be in his favour at a club with plenty of midfield class.

"Look, to have Ngobeni and Mhlongo on the bench is difficult because they are fantastic players. Manyisa and Jali are on another level so for William it will really be difficult," the Zimbabwean veteran says.

"But maybe, gradually they will introduce him into the setup and spare him for the future. I have no doubt in saying the boy is a fantastic player as well, so it's only a matter of going there and proving himself."

Dont worry Ngobeni is going to arrows its a done deal... Manto told Dr Khoza that Khuboni doesnt have a partner in the middle of the park and the agreement was signed....

So thwala will have to compete with the highly talented cyril Mashego.... In Mashego I see a playmaker better than Teko, Nkosi, vilakazi, federiks even pinaar. Its just a matter of time before we see him in our starting lineup...

They come they go but Pirates remains..
Swallows out, Chiefs going out...
Who will be our biggest rivals in 2020..

We understand that the main aim of signing players in a team is to get a winning combination and to have depth in the event something happens to the combination, be it injury, drop in form, suspensions an so forth.

Orlando Pirates have assembled a formidable squad, the best ever and we still have to see some of these signings play. Without interrupting with the core of the team, the coach should at different times introduce and allow these new signings to encourage competition and build confidence on these players. They should start playing in a 'relaxed' environment to gradually incorporated them in a high intensity environment.

We should not have sold Yebo Yes as it could have been the breeding ground for these players. By now it would have been promoted to the NFD.

i'd like to welcom and wish the best out of Twala.
let me tell you boy,you have to double your efforts here and shine more than you did in NFD.
THAT midfield is packed with tried and tested players,so just keep your focus and the best will follow.
