Ghana born former Germany international Gerald Asamoah says he will be playing his club football in America next year after spending his entire career in the Bundesliga.
Asamoah is currently on the books of Schalke 04 after spending last season at Saint Pauli but has struggled for first team football and is keen to take his skills elsewhere.
Asamoah won't mention the exact tea he will be playing for in the States but a move will bring an end to his long stay in Germany.
He has played for Hannover, Schalke and Saint Pauli in addition to representing Germany at the 2002 World Cup.
