Palmer sees Cosmos as stepping stone

Maritzburg United coach Ian Palmer believes a win against Jomo Cosmos at Harry Gwala Stadium on Saturday will signal the first steps towards re-igniting their season.
The Team of Choice has lost their last six League matches and have not won a game since September 28 when they beat Platinum Stars at home.
"It's a must win for us. The spirit is fantastic in the camp. We are a bit more positive after the result against AmaZulu."
Palmer says it is vital for his team to finish in the top eight before the mid-season break.
"We have to finish in the top eight, in that way when we come back from the mid-season break we are in a good position."
Palmer says his team will favour a more attacking brand of football against Cosmos.
"It's not going to be easy because we know Cosmos are very physical. We need to get numbers forward and to try and get an early goal so as to put them on the back foot.
"I think if we can do that, then we can get a positive result at the end of the game," he adds.
Diyo Sibisi returns from injury to boost their strike force while Kurt Lentjies is suspended.
