2011 Telkom Knockout Cup award ceremony is happening today

Now that we know who the 2011 Telkom Knockout Cup champions are, football fans will today discover the identity of the individual award winners.
The winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony at Wanderers in Johannesburg this afternoon at 12.30pm, and a whopping R750 000 is on offer for individual players who made the Telkom Knockout Cup the exhilarating competition that it was.
THE NOMINEES ARE:
Goalkeeper of the Tournament (R100 000):
Moeneeb Josephs (Orlando Pirates), Greg Etafia (Moroka Swallows) and Energy Murambadoro (Bidvest Wits).
Defender of the Tournament (R100 000):
Siyabonga Sangweni (Orlando Pirates), Lucky Lekgwathi (both Orlando Pirates), Derrick Spencer and Patrick Phungwayo (both Bidvest Wits).
Midfielder of the Tournament (R100 000):
Oupa Manyisa, Isaac Chansa (both Orlando Pirates), Sifiso Myeni, Asive Langwe and Sibusiso Vilakazi (all Bidvest Wits).
Striker of the Tournament:
Benni McCarthy (Orlando Pirates) and Ryan Chapman (Bidvest Wits)
Simba Marumo's 2006 hat-trick in the Final was not emulated, so that R100 000 award will not be presented.
The Player of the Tournament will be rewarded with a R200 000 cheque, but this award may not be presented today as in previous seasons it was presented at the PSL end of the season awards in May.
