Kaizer Chiefs have released a statement in which they congratulate their nemesis Orlando Pirates on their Telkom Knockout success.

Ezimnyama Ngenkani put three past Bidvest Wits on their way to winning their second trophy of the 2011/12 season.

"Kaizer Chiefs Football Club would like to congratulate Orlando Pirates for being crowned as Telkom Knockout champions following their emphatic win against Bidvest Wits on Saturday, 10 December 2011 at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

"Congratulations also go to the supporters who filled the stadium to capacity providing the much needed atmosphere for the final," reads the statement.

Haha! I bet that had to be the hardest statement they had to make considering the fact that they had vowed to win this trophy for the third straight year and keep it, but instead ended in the Buccaneer cabinet, which at the moment is overflowing. HAHAHA, and might I add HA!!!!!

Gucci Man:bra van maine - things will turn outi yami.

Did you resolve your issues with Bobby, apparently he wants Kaizer Snr out of operations and only be a non executive member in the board.

Chiefs will fall in the hands of Bobby,Jessica and that Stabane Jnr eventually investors will save this team.

This is great sportsmanship from Kaizer Chiefs. I don’t care who wrote it or how hard it was to write it. Displaying good sportsmanship isn't always easy: It can be tough to congratulate the opposing team especially if that is your rival. I was also impressed by Myeni’s acknowledgment of our achievement and the fact that he was the first Wits player to congratulate us after losing such an important game. The bottom line is that they have shown the sportsmanship.

To the Pirates Family (especially the supporters) we need to be humble in success. That’s what defines true sportsmanship. It is all well to tease your rival about your success but there is a fine line between teasing and an act of arrogance. Remember that without the opposition we are no winners. In sport you win some and you lose some. It is therefore very important that you don't ever forget where you coming from. That is what defines the Barcelona team and that's exactly what keeps them working hard and rolling in success.
