Despite having lost three League matches this season, Kaizer Chiefs coach Vladimir Vermezovic says has not lost hope of winning the title, and has no intention of resigning.
Vermezovic is in the last year of his contract at Amakhosi, but is yet to deliver the championship trophy to Naturena.
'VV' and his team have not been enjoying the best of form in recent times, and their 2-0 loss to SuperSport United in Polokwane yesterday put a dent in their chances of winning the League.
But the Serbian warns people not to write off his team.
"We are still in the middle of the season and can't give up now," Vermezovic says. "We can't surrender now and we will fight until the end of the season."
VV also refutes reports going around that he will resign if Chiefs lose to Sundowns in Pretoria on Sunday.
"I am not going to resign," he says, emphatically.

You say there is no problem with the defence, you praise Erasmus for his jumping for the second goal last night. What about the fact that Isaacs was the one at fault for the first goal?He messed up and Yeye was caught trying to clean up for him,yet you took Yeye off.Erasmus is one of the shortest players in the PSL,yet he outjumped Isaacs just like Ndulula did during the cup final.
You say you lack height at the back: you have been there for three years and only now are you realising this? This weakness was evident in your very first game when we played Santos at Orlando stadium and you've done nothing about it in 3 years?
Look at your competitors in the top five, they play unknowns like Zwane,Ntusi,Wome and Mdluli and they win,all you ever talk about is having national team players but you never win anything.
BOBBY please deal with your hobos because they are interfering with your family bonds business.
awu what happened to winning a TREBLE?
What happened to Rice Khosi Rice?
What happened to VV being the special one?
What happened to winning the league this season?
Where is Shabba, the best player in SA?
What is the role of the captain's committee?
Strange that, Chiefs hobos stil want Bobby out after he has made himself very clear.
1. V.v has been in 3 cup finals in 3 seasons and no league title.... While our brilliant brazillian has been to 2 cup finals in 1 season.... If that is anything to go by then Leal has a 200% better record than his counter part....
2. Leal won the richest knockout competition in Africa after being at the helm 4 a mere 2 or so months... V.V won the cheapest knockout competion in his 1st season after being incharge 4 more than 6 months.. Leal win again
Finaly if coach Leal wins the TKO he will match and eclipse v.v as the better coach in just 6 months incharge... V.v will have 2 cups and Leal will have 2 cups....
So to all Pirates supporters calling 4 Leal's head I say wait until we lose so you can voice your concerns since we won... Lets celebrate what v.v is saying plus our victory... Football 101 was mastered at the University of Orlando.
