Towering striker Lungisani Ndlela is sweating it out with Vodacom League club Alexandra United after postponing his proposed move to Indonesia.
Ndlela spent the past season at First Division club United FC where he sought refuge after seven years in the Premiership at Moroka Swallows, SuperSport United and Mamelodi Sundowns.
Though he managed five goals in the games he played after joining United in November last year, the 31-year-old decided not to stay on.
KickOff.com has since spotted him sweating it out at Alex United training sessions.
"I have decided to come to training with Alex United to keep fit after the move to Asia fell through," he explains.
"Actually I couldn't go to Indonesia then because there was stuff that needed my attention, but now that it is sorted I am back and available should the opportunity arise again. I am told the league there is yet to start.
"I value the need to keep fit because as a striker I need to maintain my touch. Since I have no agent, I am doing things for myself and will soon be ready to get going again."
