DC bans Sivutsa official

Posted: 2011-10-13 09:45

An official of First Division rookies Sivutsa Stars, Comfort Mkhatshwa, has been banned from League activities until the end of the first round.

Mkhatshwa was banned for using abusive language and making rude gestures to match officials.

Mkhatshwa appeared before the PSL DC yesterday, with his club, on charges of official misbehaviour and unsporting behaviour at the match between Witbank Spurs and Sivutsa Stars at the Ackerville Stadium on September 10.

After being dismissed from the technical area by the referee, Mkhatshwa made gestures suggesting that the match officials received money from Witbank Spurs. He also used abusive language to the referee.

Mkhatshwa was found guilty and suspended from League activities until the end of the first round of the season.
