Former Bafana Bafana and Jomo Cosmos player Lebohang Morula has been arrested in connection with the hijacking of a lorry.
Morula appeared in the Ga-Rankuwa Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.
According to a report appearing on Sport24, Morula was arrested last Wednesday after stolen goods worth R3.4-million were found in a warehouse he allegedly owns.
The goods apparently originated from a truck recently hijacked between Gauteng and Durban.
Morula's bail hearing was postponed on Tuesday after the prosecution argued that he was already out on bail for a similar offence, and should stay in prison.
The bail bid was put off till Friday.
Morula was a member of the national squad at the 1998 World Cup in France.
He had been previously arrested last November, when police recovered more than 500 stolen computers and caught eight hijackers at a storeroom he owned.
Last week, Morula was arrested along with four Zimbabwean nationals. They did not appear in court on Tuesday and it was not clear whether they would be seeking bail.
Morula also played for Vanspor in Turkey and Juan Aurich in Peru.
