Amajita captain Philani Khwela could return to Europe after French team AS Monaco say they want to have a look at him.

Khwela returned to South Africa last season to rejoin SuperSport United after an unsuccessful spell with Feyenoord Rotterdam in Holland. He is currently on loan to the University of Pretoria.

The midfielder could to return to Europe but this time to the French Ligue 2.

In a chat with KickOff.com Khwela says he is now ready both physically and mentally for the challenge of playing in Europe.

“I have been in touch with the people organising the trials with Monaco and they promise that it will happen very soon. I have been to Europe before and know the conditions so I am crossing my fingers that the deal in France comes through.”

The Amajita captain has already scored two goals for AmaTuks in the League this season.
