Leal outlines plans to fill Jele gap

Orlando Pirates coach Julio Leal says that they have enough cover for suspended Happy Jele

Orlando Pirates coach Julio Leal says they have enough cover at right-back to replace suspended Happy Jele for the clash against Mamelodi Sundowns this weekend.

Jele picked up a third yellow card against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday during their 2-1 defeat, and the gap will prove a challenge to fill as they will be coming up against the likes of Elias Pelembe, Musa Nyatama, Teko Modise and Franklin Cale.   Leal says he is likely to give Njabulo Ntusi his League debut after he impressed for Bucs during the Vodacom Challenge against Tottenham Hotspur.   "We have someone who is a specialist at right-back. He [Ntusi] is still young and played one game for us against Tottenham Hotspur.   "We also have the option to use Rooi [Mahamutsa]. Rooi can also slot in at centre-back and Lucky [Lekgwathi] as right-back.   "During the week we will make a decision on that. We know it is a big game and we have to make the best decision.   "There are two or three days for planning before making a final decision, but we have alternatives and are covered," he says.

...How about using the great plan that worked so well against Amakhosi ? Just ask Lucky "Chairman" Lekgwathi. Oh sorry I forgot. Chiefs toyed with your Galaxy of Cows the whole afternoon and the plan was nowhere to be seen.

Look @ the coach shoes. they look too big for him. They are pointing upward. This shows some of the teams dont have taste for fashion. Anyway what can we say about cheap labour

@TZOZO, was your plan seen against AJAX?, against PIRATES(MTN final)?...congradulations but dont dwell much in the past, look at the future...this topic is simple, if you dont have anything to say just wait for ZEBRAS's topic...the less said about the anti-pirateses Qubule who gave you a game...we beat you 3 times and you beat us one time then you make a lot of hallubaloo...hey man get over it

Rooi Mahamutsa should play at right-back as it is the position he started at Pirates before Krol changed him to centre-back. Alternatively Lekgwathi must play at right-back and Mahamutsa partner Siyabonga Sangweni at centre-back..! Orlando Pirates is a Galaxy of Stars and there is never a crisis at Parktown..!!!

@Thuso.Ntlhane that is desperation talking...you cant seriously count pre-season games can you?

If you watch Ajax game you must admit that Chiefs was very unlucky not to win that game...admit you Rat

Hoza Weeeeeekend!! Pie-rats should be weary of wounded Motsepe FC cause just like the Glamour Boys they lost to Ajax before facing them and won. History has a funny way of repeating itself. As a Khosi supporter I want nothing more than a draw.

Pirates should be allowed to field 12 players as it is almost guaranteed that they will be robbed every game by referees. We have only Telkom Cup to win and the rest are already in the bag.

I knew Rats were going to cry foul once again after watching Soccerzone and Extra Time. Now let me tell you, Jele's goal should not stand since he pushed Josta to get an advantage for the ball. Forget their tussle before the ball was kicked. It could never be a free kick for Chiefs or a penalty for 5 Skipaz FC. But if Josta pushed Jele to get an advantage after the free kick was taken it was gonna be a penalty. Jele pushed Josta to get an advantage and Gqubule should have punished him and gave Chiefs a free kick. So stop whining. The ref gave Ajax a penalty that he shouldn't have after he thought Khune had fouled Fanteni but we are not making noise about it.
