KickOff.com has been reliably informed that Robert Sithole has been appointed the referee for the MTN8 Final. 

Bucs take on perennial rivals Amakhosi on Saturday night at the FNB stadium and Sithole will be in charge of the clash.
 
He will be assisted by Zakhele Siwela and Leon Mngqibisa, while Zolile Mthetho will be the fourth official.
 
In recent seasons, Sithole has refereed a Final specifically the 2009/10 Final between Kaizer Chiefs and Ajax Cape Town on 10 April 2010. Amakhosi ran out 2-1 winners in Durban.
 
Efforts to verify the appointments for the match were in vain as the PSL’s PR and Press Manager Altaaf Kazi couldn’t be reached for comment.

What is the point of this report really, to insunuate that this referre favours Chiefs? We never win by favours, we beat anyone, not by a controversial bum goal like someone did during last season's 2nd of the semi-final, or by some lucky goal scored with a nose like someone during the last league game encounter... we beat anyone by a margin formula 3x3!

TTM,i personally don't doubt your reporting but the Comments on game of these magnitude "may" suggest u think he might favour KC.Wait till after the game you will see wht the comments will be.

Last year piret supporters were relieving their stress on you,calling you all sorts of names even after you confessed you are a piret supporter.I don recall anyone coming back to apologise to you.

Anyway good reporting on your part,i just hope these is not only done for these game.

But TTM that is the direction and impression this report gives; maybe you should put more examples to minimise impressions of bias to this kind of reporting E.g. you can allude to number of times Sithole has refereed the final including other teams, unless of course he either has no experience in the final or Chiefs is simply the only clubs to which he has encou8nted in finals... either way, just give more examples to cover all points to maximise objectivity....

I personally like Robert Sithole, He might be the oldest referee in the psl but to me he is the fittest referee and can run behind play for the whole 90 or 120 minute.My only worry is, Is he going to watch those bad tackles from Andile Jali and tackles from behind by Jele and Lekwati? As long as our skilfil players will be protected i will be happy.

Of the few games that I have watched this season, Robert Sithole has stood head and shoulders above the rest. Good choice for the game of this magnitude. As a Sandawana, May the best team on the day win!
