New Aduana Stars coach Cioaba Aristica is confident he can continue to make the Dormaa side competitive after agreeing a one year contract with them.

The 39-year old, who has had stints in Egypt and Morocco, has taken over from Herbert Addo who spent two hugely successful seasons at the club, including taking them to the League championships two seasons ago.

But he was sacked after a fall-out with the club’s management.

The Romanian will arrive in Ghana next week to begin work and says he has taken up the job because of the sporting challenge it offers.

"I have come to Ghana for the good job, for good results, for the challenge, to help the team, to help the players but not the money because if it was for the money I would have gone somewhere else," he told Citi FM.

He is also confident he will see through his one year contract. "I want to make very good results and then maybe I stay another year and maybe more."
