The highly rated defender, who was also on Platinum Stars most-wanted list, is set to begin full-time training with Bucs on Monday, where he will get the chance to impress new coach Julio Leal.
Khoza was among other Bucs trialists that appeared in the black-and-white during the Ubuntu Calabash match against Zimbabwe's Dynamos at Rand Stadium yesterday.
Also appearing for Pirates in the charity match were new recruits David 'Anelka' Fakude and Njabulo Ntusi from University of Pretoria.
Spurs spokesperson Thabo Morape confirmed that his team has given Khoza permission to go on trial at Pirates.
"This shows that at Spurs we don't stand in players' ways if want to persue their careers somewhere else, especially when it's a move to big clubs like Orlando Pirates."
