Ghana midfielder Derek Boateng heads to Dnipro

Ghana midfielder Derek Boateng has moved to Dnipro after his dream of playing in England fell through. 

Boating moves from Spanish La Liga side Getafe in a deal worth €5.5m and has signed a four yea contract with the Ukrainian side.   Dnipro announced the deal on their official website. "Dnipro has formalized the transition to our club Ghanaian midfielder Derek Boateng,” a club statement read. “Derek signed a personal contract for a period of four years.”   He joins fellow Black Star Samuel Inkoom at the club. Boateng had hoped for a move to England but Getafe were keener on the more lucrative offer from Ukraine.   It is another destination in the career of Boateng who as already played in Greece, Israel, Sweden, Germany and Spain.
