Booth is recovering from a knee injury he picked up at the end of February during a League match against Bidvest Wits. At 34, Booth is aware of how difficult it will be to get another team if Sundowns do not renew his contract. “My contract is up at the end of June and I am waiting on Sundowns to let me know what is going to happen. I hope that they renew it because it will not be good if they don’t, as I am still injured,” says Booth. “I am having no holiday at all because I have to continue working through June. My plan is to be ready to join the rest of the squad for pre-season training. I am getting stronger with every gym session I attend and I have regained all the muscle I had lost. “While I think about my return from injury, it is equally important to worry about my contract,” the towering defender says. Sundowns are remaining quiet about player contract renewals as they first have to decide who will coach the team next season.

Man I agree with you there they always follow us. They believe in a saying that: if you follow the best one day you will become the best as well.
lol u right that shud work Sundowns hate to lose players to Chiefs and they buy all their rejects...Myb Kickoff must run a bogus story titled:'Booth spotted at Naturena' then u will see all the fireworks lol...On the real though its time for Booth to retire he doesnt want to be remembered like hw we now remember Hans Vonk and Shoes...lEAVE WHILE the game is still kind to u...You hv paid ur dues u owe the game nothin...
Booth, my man, you should really consider retirement. Your knees have taken too many knocks over the years. Phela, you should still be able to run with your baby boy as you coach him.
Also, since you will be a free agent, the cabbage farm might just be the place for you, to replace Nahayo.
