Chidzambwa compares Pirates to a mountain

Posted: 2011-05-26 15:13

Black Leopards coach Sunday Chidzambwa tells KickOff.com for his team to try and win against Orlando Pirates in the Nedbank Cup Final will be similar to trying to “move a mountain”.

The National First Division side will lock horns with the reigning Premier Soccer League champions on Saturday at the Mbombela Stadium and the Zimbabwean mentor admits Leopards are “obviously” the underdogs.

“We are the underdogs obviously because we will be playing against the PSL champions… trying to beat them will be like trying to move a mountain,” he admits.

“We will just have to wait for Saturday to see what would happen,” the former Free State Stars coach continues.

He adds: “My wish is to win the cup, but it is something that will be difficult looking at the team we will be facing.”

Stivovo New Champ: 2011-05-26 15:53

Why dont you save us time and just hand us that trophy without even playing, remember coach you have the playoffs to focus on and once you try to win I tell you, your team will come out there with red, yellow cards, exosted due to Segolela speed and self made injuries

Leopards is running a risk of loosing their key players through injuries before their crucial PLAY-OFFs. If Leopards players try to attack, they must watch out for "tough but not rough" tackles by Lekgwathi, Mahamutsa, Manyisa, Jali and Jele.

From what this useless Leopards trainer is saying, does he expect anyone whose well in his mind to support his Club on Saturday? Why should i go to the stadium on Saturday if Leopards trainer is adamant that Pirates will beat them? Is this Sunday guy well in his upstairs? I think the Head Coach of Leopards should come and rectify the statement made by his team trainer. Mr David Thidiela please as a Head Coach come and restruct the stament made by your trainer. Otherwise it was never wise to follow and support anything has to do with the Thidiela's especially in football.
