Premiership players are putting their money on Orlando Pirates to win the Nedbank Cup Final this weekend.
Pirates take on First Division side Black Leopards in what is an already sold out match at the Mbombela Stadium on Saturday. Kick-off is at 15h00.
Newly-signed Kaizer Chiefs defender Tefo Mashamaite, who lifted the trophy with Bidvest Wits against AmaZulu last season, is among those who favour Bucs.
"I think Pirates deserve it. They have worked hard throughout the season. But as much as they look favourites, they must not allow complacency to creep in because underdogs are always dangerous.
"We [Wits] went into the Final against AmaZulu last season as underdogs but came back victorious, so Pirates should not underestimate Black Leopards."
SuperSport United defender Thabo September says experience counts in Bucs' favour on Saturday.
"Pirates have been in two cup finals this season and this gives them the edge in terms of experience. After winning the League their confidence is high and I see them winning the Final on Saturday."
Golden Arrows midfielder Thanduyise Khuboni says Lidodo Duvha's lack of experience will be their downfall.
"After winning the League, the spirit at Pirates should be high at this stage. They have not been winning trophies over the past few years, but are now chasing the treble. They will want to set a record on Saturday.
"Pirates have been there before this season and that will make a big difference in terms of experience on Saturday," he adds.
