Safa in talks with Chiefs over Bafana trio

Safa are in currently in discussions with Kaizer Chiefs after they received a request from the club to withdraw new Bafana Bafana captain Siphiwe Tshabalala, Itumeleng Khune and Reneilwe Letsholonyane from the squad to face Tanzania on Saturday.

Bobby Motaung’s statement on the Chiefs website last night asked Safa to "be fair" with The Glamour Boys as they are still in contention for the Premiership title, but KickOff.com has learned that coach Pitso Mosimane would prefer them to stay on.

One source close to the team says: “They are staying in camp.”

But Safa's communications director Morio Sanyane refused to confirm the news.

“It is still under discussion. I’m not sure when it will be decided but hopefully there will be a statement later today,” he says.

Hey, discussions for what? Then they must postpone the whole league program by a week because all teams must play at the same time.
Its that or they should give back our players. Period!!!! We are tied of being saviors of SAFA and PSL. All other teams are just hangers on. Supporters, Players and even advice on how to run a tam professionally. Thats enough. Every donkey must now pull its own weight. Chiefs has suffered enough carrying everybody on its back alone.

I think this Tanzania fixture will have benefitted these average perfomers....Khune has been erratic between the poles ever since the World cup or should i say the Confed cup....Tshabalala hit a once off wonder goal against Mexico almost a year ago and faded away ever since hence he can`'t even make trials at a lower english division...Letsholonyane has been forced down the packing order & turned into a water boy by young lads like Jali & Khuboni...but knowing what a moron Bobby is..he will insist that they get released....Sandilands is the future together with Keet...Tshabalala is warming that position for Thulani Serero....

Yesterday i had a nightmare. I dreamt i was a Pi-Rats fan being @ the stadium and i felt a donkey. When looked @ Pi-lrete fans and players i only saw donkeys. I was so scared i screamed and woke up. Shoo, what a nightmare! Thanks God i support Chiefs.

I thought national team was a priority but after i had Ajax pulled out theirs and that Makhala njalo fc players were not selected because they have a game than why should Chiefs release theirs? Kaizer Chiefs management and fans get excited when they have 50 % of their players selected for the national duty, they must do so in the current situation, If they are the best team in the country as they are refered to, I dont think they can depend to the individual players. When their palyers got selected ahead of other teams players they normaly say it is because other teams are poor and they are the best, Mabayeke ukusimosha apha, Shaba is also looking for the offers from overseas. Any body can replace any body as far as their best team is concerned.
