AmaZulu have received a major boost ahead of their Nedbank Cup game against Mpumalanga Black Aces on Sunday after striker Lehlohonolo Majoro returned to training on Wednesday.
Majoro was involved in a car accident in Durban on Saturday. He was hospitalised and although he was discharged the following day, the striker was advised to take a few days off.
Usuthu publicist Philani Mabaso confirms that Majoro was back at training and could be available for selection on Sunday.
“Majoro had light training on Wednesday and has been declared fit to start full-time training. The coach has indicated that he still has to assess his performance during the workout before making a decision on whether he will play against Aces.”
Mabaso also announced that midfielder Tsweu Mokoro was fit and available for the weekend game after recovering from head injury suffered in a League match against Aces in Witbank a few weeks ago.
