Bidvest Wits midfielder Larry Cohen jetted out of the country heading for the United Kingdom where he will go on trial with League One outfit Brentford.
Cohen who began his professional career with Jomo Cosmos a few years ago will spend 10 days at Brentford.
The midfielder's representative, Michael Hughes of Stellar Africa, confirms that the player holds an EU passport which will allow him to play in the UK if he passes his trial.
"We are very happy for an opportunity like this to be granted to the player through our office in the UK. We are also grateful to Wits who have allowed him to go on trial during this stage of the League. We trust that he will do well in England," adds Hughes.

Ernest Fakude, do your work. This name should have motivated you to dig more on the name if you knew our Football. That would have made for better news.
Goodluck Larry.
He'll get good experience in his time with Brentford. I live not to far from the club and they've been through a rough patch but are starting to find some solidity at last. League One has some good sides in it (eg: Southampton, Sheffield Wednesday etc). Regardless, it'll be a good education for him. Has he actually played for Wits yet?
