Well-travelled coach Johnny Ferreira has been fired for the third time this season by a First Division club after failing to achieve on the mandate when he joined struggling Coastal Stream outfit Hanover Park.
Ferreira took over six games ago with the responsibility of getting the team off the bottom, but he has failed on that which has forced Hanover to show him the door.
Hanover Park have confirmed that Ferreira has since been replaced by Shamiel Anthony for the last three games of the season from which they hope to escape the drop in a fight that involves Nathi Lions.
Ferreira has already been fired at Black Leopards, where he lasted just one match and four training sessions before moving on to join Limpopo neighbours Dynamos, where he managed to hold onto his job for three months before being elbowed out.
After that he went back home to Cape Town where he then joined early this year, but he hasn’t lasted long there either.
Prior to the circus that Ferreira has experienced this year he had lasted three years at FC Cape Town.
