Mamelodi Sundowns will definitely not stand in Siyanda Xulu's way during the next transfer window period when he attempts to impress European teams.
Xulu, who has already been invited by English Premiership side Arsenal as well as Spanish giants Barcelona where he had trials, has now attracted interest from Atletico Madrid who are keen to have a look at him next season. KickOff.com has been informed that the club will definitely allow the defender to go at the end of the season and will not stand in his way, like they did with striker Katlego Mphela. Xulu's business manager Paul Michel declined to deny or confirm anything but referred all queries to Downs. "I'm not in a position to say anything now. You can phone Sundowns and they will tell you what's happening." Downs spokesperson Alex Shakoane says they would only confirm when everything is in place, but at the moment he would not say anything. "I can't confirm speculation; I can only confirm once everything is done and at the moment there is nothing," he says. However, a source close to the club reveals to KickOff.com that Downs are prepared to sell their player during the off season.

Goodluck Xulu, we need to export to the best league now, the Spanish league if its going to be you who is going to brake the ice, so be it and goodluck.
Xulu has the potential to succeed overseas- he's a good centre back who can also push forward to attacking positions from time to time. i'd put him in the same class as Abidal of Barcelona- of course our own still has a few things to learn but he can only get better and better with time- his age allows him to.
Although Sangweni didn't play in the s.a. game- it's still remains an insult to him ahead of Xulu.
Imagine a Bafana side in 2014 with Xulu and Khumalo (once he start playing) at the back, Serero, Myeni, Majoro, Keet, Zwane among others playing for the country of course with more than 50 caps to their names respectively.
Sundowns seems to be the hunting ground of the spanish team- that's good for our players at development as this might come as a motivation to them. but it's time that the senior team stopped buying all these useless players who never make any impact. The way the team is managed- one would swear that Sundowns does not have a development team.
Most impressive is the fact that Atletico Madrid is actually rumoured to have tabled a R10 000 000 offer straight deal, no trials or anything like that. anyway, the boy has really shown his potential by being amongst the top 100 young talented players in the globe!
Bin Laden, Soccer laduma bloggers must be missing your volume,mh.
Eintlek, sure, sure u-feyva Downs' dii-bra? Aowa! Ke le-'Khozi' le! lol!
the boy will not be signed......fact!!!
i think Xulu is one for the future....we also have Molomuwandau Matoho, Hlatshwayo of Ajax and Bongane Khumalo....so the future looks rather bright for Bafana at the back....
