Bidvest Wits CAF Confederation Cup match washed out

The CAF Confederation Cup match between Bidvest Wits and Madagascar AS Dema at Bidvest Stadium was washed out after five minutes by heavy rain.

The match was stopped after five minutes but after about thirty minutes the decision was taken to postpone the match to Monday at the same kick-off time, 3.30pm, at the same venue.

The Madagascar side is scheduled to fly back on Tuesday after landing in South Africa on Thursday last week.

The results of other Confederation Cup second round first leg matches played at the weekend are:

The return legs are on the weekend of April 1-3.
