Mpumalanga Black Aces goalkeeper Denis Onyango has promised that his team will give it all when they meet First Division strugglers Hanover Park in the Nedbank Cup on Saturday.

Aces and Hanover are sitting at the bottom of the Absa Premiership and NFD Coastal Stream logs respectively.

Amazayoni have a great history in this tournament, having qualified for finals a few years ago, only for Mamelodi Sundowns to lift the trophy that year.

Speaking to Kick Off.com, the Ugandan goalkeeper says a win against the Cape Town-based side would also be a morale booster in their fight to survive relegation this season.

"Both the League and the Nedbank Cup are very important to us. A win over Hanover on Saturday will do lot in terms of motivation for our next League game against Free State Stars. Park are also at the bottom of their League, but we are not going to underestimate them."

Amazayoni were also paid a surprise visit by Liverpool legend John Barnes this week and Onyango said his teammates were very excited to meet the great player.

"He gave us a great motivational talk, telling us that the team's success is not only based on individuals but on unity among all members of the team."
