Osanga stranded in Libya

Former junior international King Osanga is one of hundreds of Nigerians trapped in Libya following the upheaval in that country.

Osanga, who is owned by Tunisian club Etoile du Sahel, is on a six-month loan deal to Libyan club Al Ittihad.

"Since the fighting started, I have not seen or heard from him," his father Abdullahi said. "We cant use the phone or Internet to communicate since these facilities are not working there at the moment."

Osanga, a member of the World Cup-winning Fifa Under-17 tournament in 2007, last played for Heartland in the Nigeria Premier League.
