TEAM NEWS: Orlando Pirates: Injured: Mark Mayambela Suspended: Oupa Manyisa Mamelodi Sundowns: Injured: Calvin Marlin AWOL: Katlego Mphela Suspended: None HEAD-TO-HEAD IN PAST FIVE SEASONS: 2010/11 Sundowns 1 (Khenyeza 90') Pirates 2 (Mbuyane 35', 45') 2009/10 Pirates 0 Sundowns 0 Sundowns 2 (Mungomeni 9', Vilakazi 79') Pirates 0 2008/09 Sundowns 0 Pirates 0 Pirates 2 (Mashego 24', Modise 62') 2007/08 Sundowns 2 (Nyandoro 37', Mhlongo 45') Pirates 1 (Thwala 42') Pirates 3 (Chenene 8', Walaza 11', Mushangazhike 55') Sundowns 1 (P. Ndlovu 45') 2006/07 Sundowns 2 (Chabangu 23', Moriri 61') Pirates 1 (Manzini 14og') Pirates 1 (Lekgwathi 36') Sundowns 2 (Apataki 64', Mhlongo 62') MATCH-UPS: Andile Jali v Matthew Pattison They are both in contention for a place in Bafana's defensive midfield role and will be looking to climb up the pecking order at each other's expense in Pitso Mosimane's eyes. Nyasha Mushekwi v Rooi Mahamutsa The Zimbabwean striker has scored four goals in Sundowns' last three games, but on the flip side of the coin the Pirates defence is yet to concede in the same number of previous matches. Tlou Segolela v Method Mwanjali The ‘Limpopo Gautrain' earned a call-up to Bafana Bafana, but didn't play against Kenya. The challenge now for Segolela is to prove the call was deserved, but then again Mwanjali has finally broken into Sundowns' starting eleven and will be desperate to keep it under new coach, his compatriot Ian Gorowa. TEKO FACTOR Modise's former mate at Bucs Katlego Mashego says the Bucs fans must be careful not to boo their former favourite son. “Knowing Teko personally if our supporters boo him they will motivate him more,” Mashego says. On the other hand Modise predicts an “interesting” match. “It will be hard, because I know how the Pirates supporters are… it will be an interesting game and if I get an opportunity to play I'm looking forward to it,” Modise adds. SOWETO V TSHWANE The Tshwane teams, Sundowns and SuperSport United, have shared the past five League titles, while the Soweto giants are eager to break Tshwane's stranglehold on the title. This season Bucs lead the chasing pack, including Sundowns, who are three points off the pace. A Pirates win will go a long way in Soweto's quest to end Tshwane's dominance, but a Sundowns win might ensure the trophy remains in Tshwane seeing Pirates and Chiefs will play each other later this month and might derail each other's title ambitions, giving Tshwane some breathing space to take home a sixth. Pirates have already beaten SuperSport United and Sundowns this season, while Chiefs have done the same. Can Pirates make it five out of five for Soweto?
