Leopards move to top of Inland Stream

Black Leopards moved to the top of the Inland Stream after downing Dynamos 2-1 in Giyani, while Thanda Royal Zulu, who beat Nathi Lions 2-0 at home, have taken a three-point lead following Bay United's failure to overcome a nine-man FC Cape Town in their crucial Coastal Stream clash.
David Thidiela's side now shares the same number of points as Jomo Cosmos and third-placed University of Pretoria, although the latter two both have fixtures later this week.
FC AK continued their good run, frustrating high-flying United FC 2-1 in Kimberley with goals from Joshua Sauls and Elasto Kapowezha, which elevates them above Dynamos.
There was fun and games at the NNK Rugby Stadium in Parow where former ‘Operation Dribble' referee T Nkosi showed some dubious touches by allegedly ‘siding' with Bay, failing to spot an obvious Umlilo handball a metre from him, booking only FC Cape Town players including their goalkeeper Edward More for ‘time wasting' as early as the 22nd minute.
By this time, the African Beasts were 1-0 up courtesy of a very early wind-assisted free kick that Mkhanyiseli Siwahla had blasted past the shaky Modiri Marumo, but most of the drama happened in the second half with veteran striker Marcelino Johnson seeing a straight red in the 56th minute for apparently swearing at the linesman.
A short while later, following an own goal by Tshepo Moletsane, his team mate Addmore Guri was also sent packing for a second yellow and despite the numerical advantage Bay just could not find a winner.
At the final whistle a furious FC Cape Town owner Errol Dicks was seen having words with Bay's GM Lundsi Mooi and she confirmed he'd called her "a f……cheat!".
With their loss, Nathi have dropped closer to the relegation zone, putting pressure on coach Dylan Kerr, who told KickOff.com, "Thanda are the luckiest team ever, I tell you we totally dominated play, totally – I now find out if I'm to stay in charge."
In a bottom-of-the-table clash, Blackburn Rovers beat Hanover Park 2-1 at Buffalo City with Wonder Nhleko grabbing the winner in the 89th minute, having earlier opened the scoring.
Danny Bowers netted Hanover's goal, a penalty, and in the other clash Carara Kicks and African Warriors played out a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
