Pirates came from a 2-0 deficit to register their win courtesy of a brace from Isaac Chansa and an injury time goal from Katlego Mashego.
The Dutchman brought on super subs Tlou Segolela and Mark Mayambela at the restart and the duo changed the completion of the match with Mayambela having a say in the second and the third goals.
“I think the Wits defence made basic mistakes but my defence made that also in the firs- half and that killed us in the first-half,” said Krol.
“In the second-half we were better because we had to do something, we did that by changing our wing player, we put Mbuyane back in the middle and that’s worked well for us. And we could have scored one or two goals more, but I think in the spectator’s view of mind it was a good match and I’m happy for that, it was also a good results for us. We played well in the second-half,” he added.
However, Krol was also full of praise for substitute Mayambela for his impressive display which gave him the Man of the Match award.
The former Bloemfontein Celtic man has not disappointed every time he was given a chance.
“I have to think about it, he comes from another club which they play different from our philosophy and that we tried to give him more and more minutes 20, 15 and now 45 and he did well I’m happy for him but we will see about that,” Krol said.
Meanwhile Mayambela will miss Bucs next match against Free State Stars after collecting his third booking against Wits.

But there is a 99% chance that they were playing a count attack football as result poor Wits were caught on counter in three occasions, especially Malalla Ak 4th Offical who always score lucky goals like Mambush .
One blogger mentioned that Krol is a Dutch tactician, immediately after reading his comment I took a cell phone ank asked VV if Krol is a tactician.
“In his wet dreams”. these are the words of my coach VV.
“I can say it again, he is a tactician in his wet dreams, I’m not Dessar or Habakuku” .Says VV
Krol must start embracing all the players & treat them equal otherwise he must forget about winning the league.
I will remain a buccaneer though. I love my team & hate chiefs with passion!
LOVE & PEACE...BLACK & GOLD
Those who will have a good understanding of my message will of course note that I am not saying that OPFC have won the league but the character shown from 4th position against the likes of Sundowns, Ajax and having lost to our enemies but we still overcome these ton ados...definitely this team deserve a coach and player of the month. Yes I agree that Manyisa has become a revelation and what makes me proud is that he's from our ever-green development and credit also to Njenje.
Good win yesterday Mabakaniya and you've silenced these enemied...look how silent and quite the forum is.
