Mere and Mayinga deals done

Leon Prins, the Swallows boss confirms that Mere and Mayinga's loan deals stretching up to the end of the season are now done and dusted.    "We have completed the signing of both players on loan after having been involved in smooth negotiations with Mamelodi Sundowns. They immediately become available for selection for our game this weekend as they have also been registered with the PSL. There is absolutely no doubting that the two players bring the desired experience and value to our team. I believe we have strengthened the team in the right way and we should now be able to start winning games and get off the bottom," says Prins.    Both Mere and Mayinga haven't been used much at Sundowns this season as Antonio Lopez Habas has preferred other players to them at wingback where the two play.     While Mere's loan move was not really expected even though he wasn't playing much Mayinga was always faced with the prospect of leaving due to the fact that he hasn't held a regular place in the team since arriving from Swallows two years ago.    Mayinga had also made it known to Sundowns management that if he was to be loaned out he preferred moving to a team based in Gauteng.
