The Kaizer Chiefs marksman, dubbed the ‘Smiling Assassin’ for his goalscoring ability, tells KICK OFF that he has no plans to leave the Glamour Boys in the near future either.
Musona, who arrived at Naturena at the beginning of the season, has been in terrific form, prompting a report that he could be leaving for Russia – but the 20-year-old denies this.
“I will move when the time is right, but now I have to focus on the team I am playing for, which is Kaizer Chiefs,” he says. “Time will tell when I leave Chiefs, but it has to be at the right time. I don’t want to go sit on the bench somewhere though, so I must prove myself in the PSL and then make a move at the right time.
“I’m aiming to be the best here and I don’t know anything about the Russia thing. I think I will do well in France, Spain and England some day. @ King - Let me first start by acknowledging that Chiefs is not dorminant in the League. Sundowns is! the records speaks for themselves!
Although it is the main factor,the league is not the sole determining factor when you want to see if a team is big.
Among other things:
* Popularity
* Game Attendance
* Consistency
* Success (on and off the field)
* Professionalism
* How do people perceive the Brand
* etc, etc

* Professionalism - Ask all present and past players, coaches,media,foreign visitors, which team is the most professionally run team in SA.
