Black Leopards comfortably beat Platinum Stars 2-0 in a Castle Premiership encounter played at a hot Giyani on Saturday afternoon.

The goals were scored by Myron Shongwe and David Makgale.

Leopards were the better side throughout with Stars looking lethargic.

The home side could have won by more goals had they taken their good scoring chances during the first half with Sibusiso Dlamini being the main culprit.

In the 29th minute Leopards took the lead when Myron Shongwe scored with a header from a free-kick by Jabulani Maluleke.

Leopards scored again in the 60th minute when Dlamini passed the ball to David Makgale who side-footed the ball past keeper Tapuwa Kapini to make the score 2-0.

In the end Leopards deserved the win.
