Kaizer Chiefs have four players in Zimbabwe’s national team to play Mozambique in an international friendly on November 17 in Maputo.
Knowledge Musona, Zhaimu Jambo, Thomas Sweswe and Tinashe Nengomasha are all included by caretaker coach Madinda Ndlovu, while Mamelodi Sundowns have three players in the 18-man squad; Nyasha Mushekwi, Method Mwanjali and Esrom Nyandoro.
Platinum Stars striker Terrence Mandaza is in line to make his debut for the Warriors. The squad consists of eleven players based in South Africa.
Zimbabwe squad:
Goalkeepers: Washington Arubi (Dynamos, Zimbabwe), Tapuwa Kapini (Platinum Stars, South Africa)
Defenders: Thomas Sweswe, Zhaimu Jambo (Kaizer Chiefs, South Africa), Gilbert Mapemba (Caps United, Zimbabwe), Method Mwanjali (Mamelodi Sundowns, South Africa) Daniel Vheremu (Gunners, Zimbabwe), Zephania Ngodzo (Highlanders, Zimbabwe).
Midfielders: Oscar Machapa (Moroka Swallows, South Africa), Ashley Rambanepasi, Benjamin Marere (both Dynamos, Zimbabwe), Esrom Nyandoro (Mamelodi Sundowns, South Africa), Tinashe Nengomasha (Kaizer Chiefs, South Africa), Tafadzwa Rusike (Ajax Cape Town, South Africa).
Strikers: Knowledge Musona (Kaizer Chiefs, South Africa), Nyasha Mushekwi (Mamelodi Sundowns, South Africa), Phillip Marufu (FC Lupopo, DRC) Terence Mandaza (Platinum Stars, South Africa).
