Steven Pienaar not joining Inter Milan

Posted: 3 November 2010 Time: 14:39

Steven Pienaar’s agent insists there have been no offers for the Bafana Bafana midfielder from Inter Milan – or any other club for that matter.

The British press this morning linked ‘Schillo’ with a move to the San Siro, but Ivan Modia insists that if that’s the case, he has not been informed.

“Steven's contract is expiring and the press continue to report rumours about his future, but I've never met anyone from Inter,” Modia says. “I know of several teams’ interest only through the newspapers. We have not received any concrete offer.”

Other than Inter, Pienaar has also been linked with Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Juventus.
