Former Orlando Pirates coach Milutin 'Micho' Sredejovic is over the moon after taking Sudan giants Al-Hilal to the semi-final stage of the 2010 CAF Confederation Cup.

"This is a very big win for me as a coach, for the team and the entire management and fans of Al-Hilal," said the Serbian coach after his charges beat Libya's Al-Ittihad 2-0 in Khartoum on Sunday night.

"Now that we have qualified for the semi-finals, we have achieved one target of getting there and now we shall work very hard to give to our club the biggest gift in club history," Micho told Cafonline.com.

"I am very happy that I joined Al-Hilal because they are very ambitious and every body works really hard," added Micho who apart from leading Bucs, has also coached SC Villa (Uganda), Young Africans (Tanzania) and St George (Ethiopia).

Guiding the Sudanese giants to the semi-finals of the Confederations Cup is Micho's second biggest achievement in the continent after helping Pirates reach the semifinals of the CAF Champions League in 2006.

I stand to be corrected but Micho to Pirates to the Semi-final of the African Champions league. No other team in this country has ever gone that far.

HAPPY PEOPLE
ONCE AND ALWAYS!

Now i am correcting this guy called Don Achie, in 2006 Micho took Pirates to the semis where they lost to CS Sfaxien by 0 - 1 aggregate after playing to a 0 - 0 draw in South Africa and CS Sfaxien went o to loose the final to Al-Ahly who beat ASEC Mimosas 3 - 2 on aggregate. Try to learn and investigate before exposing your stupidity broer. Pirates is the only team South of the equator to have won Champions League when it was still called African Champions Cup, furthermore only three teams have fared better in that competition. Manning Rangers were the semifinalists in 1998 and Sundowns in 2000 while in 2001 Sundowns were the loosing finalist. They lost against Al-Ahly.

"Chiefs and Pirates are worlds apart, Chiefs are professsional to the tee and Bucs are not" Says Stanton Fredericks
