Black Leopards Malawian striker Grant Lungu, who was side-lined for disciplinary reasons, has been granted a reprieve and has been called up to his national team.
Flames coach Kinnah Phiri has released a 17 man squad of foreign based players for their Afcon qualifier against Chad on October 9 at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.
In the squad, which has six midfielders and strikers respectively, four defenders and one goalkeeper, Phiri has included the former Big Bullets striker as well as Peter Wadabwa, who missed the three Flames competitive games due to an injury.
Another player, who has not been called regularly, Jimmy Zakazaka, has now made it into Kinnah's squad.
However, notable names missing in the squad are Nathi Lions dangerous raider Moses 'Luba' Chavula, who has not been certified fit by his club due to a long tendon injury.
Silver Strikers marksman, Hellings Mwakasungula is also not part of the squad together with South African based Allan Kamanga due to suspensions after both received cards in their last game against Tunisia.
Also missing on the list is Vasco da Gama midfielder, Joseph Kamwendo, who announced his resignation for the Flames before he rescinded his decision.
Quizzed on Kamwendo's issue, Kinnah responded: "Kamwendo did not report to me whether he is now fully fit. Once he informs me about his fitness, l have no problem to call him."
A contingent of ten players is expected to arrive on October 4.
These are all South African based, and include goalkeeper Swadik Sanudi, Harry Nyirenda, Robert Ng'ambi, Jacob Ngwira, Fisher 'Jahman' Kondowe, Peter Wadabwa, Jimmy Zakazaka, Benard Harawa, Atusaye Nyondo, Chiukepo Msowoya and Grant Lungu.
Arriving on October 5 is Santos and Flames captain Peter 'Mjojo' Mponda followed by Sweden based gangling striker Russel Mwafulirwa. Angolan based James Sangala will arrive on October 6.
