Liberty Professionals are looking to arrest their early season slump with the signing of the experienced due Mark Adu Amofah and Addoquaye Pappoe.

The Dansoman based club is bottom of the Ghana League table after three straight losses in the opening weekend and in danger this early in the season of going down to the second tier after 10 years in the top-flight.

Now the club is looking to sign on Amofah and Pappoe to inject a bit of experience in the side.

Amofah has returned to Ghana after spells in South Africa, Denmark and Israel. Pappoe, meanwhile, was for some time the regular left-back of the Black Stars and played two games in the position at the 2010 World Cup. He had previously played in Israel and Cyprus.

Both players have started training at Liberty’s Keep Fit grounds alongside former players Kwame Obeng Darko and Sam Ayew Yeboah.
