Why do they hate SA?May be they don't want them to qualify.

Eric: 2010-09-22 02:22

Funeral for Banyana Banyana. Rest in Peace.
Atleast they will not claim age-cheat by the time Nigeria would have completely anihilated them in the presence of their home fans. They should better tell us where their final burying place would be so we can bury them in peace.

Abie : 2010-09-22 07:57

If nigeria is gud, it could hv won da world cup, considering itz participation of more than 40 yrs in fifa events, wht did they learn? When did they last won a major cup? RSA achievements surpasses many within 15 ys of re-admission. Africa needs us more, r u worried abt our improvement or nigeria,s failures?

Abie : 2010-09-22 08:05

Itz gud that RSA is pitted with nigeria-it is high tym we beat them, we hv improved a lot n we must start conquering africa, 4rom u13 to bafana

Tebza: 2010-09-22 09:09

@Kakaaki.........Bafana will not play the biggest floppers of African football. Nigeria is what England is to the European continent. Lots of potential but fokol delivery. How many times have to competed at the world cup and nations cup? How many times have you won the nations cup? How many points did you get at the last world cup.
Bafana realised that it is not good to play Nigeria at the Mandela Challenge based on their non delivery and opted for USA. As much as I wanted an African team, we needed a competitive one. Unfortunately Nigeria does not fall in that category especially with one of their player scooping an award of the miss of the tournament ( Yakubu)
Good luck to Banyana, whip dem ass

Udeme: 2010-09-22 11:14

@Tebza, you called Nigeria "the biggest floppers of African football." I don't think you understand the meaning of "flop." South Africa became the first ever world cup host to be eliminated in the first round. This part of South African history is the biggest flop ever. Your dear bafana bafana has never won Nigeria in any competitive game. You wanted to know how many times Nigeria has won the nations cup. Well, Nigeria has won 2 nations cups and South Africa has only won 1. How many times has bafana bafana even made it to the semi-final in the nations cup? Well, Nigeria has made it many times. The record speaks for itself. Your u-17 female team was beaten 10-1 by Germany's u-17. Your men's junior teams seem not to exist anymore. Is this not a flop? You guys think that you are invinsible because you beat Ghana's C team. South Africa may not even qualify for the nations cup. You guys think you can beat Egypt? I would advice you guys to concentrate more on Sierra Leone. Don't forget, Sierra Leone also beat South Africa thereby eliminating you guys from the 2010 nations cup. You went to the worldcup through the back door. There is no back door for you guys to the 2012 nations cup. I think South Africa should concentrate on improving their game and stop comparing themselves to Nigeria in terms of football. The record does not lie.

prince: 2010-09-22 11:26

@udeme God bless you, really you are a true naija boy.you have answered them very well.one love my people.

Udeme: 2010-09-22 11:49

@Tebza, one more thing, you wanted to know how many times Nigeria has been to the worldcup and nations cup. Well, Nigeria has been to the worldcup 4 times (They worked hard to get there). South Africa has been to the worldcup 3 times (I would say 2 times because they got there through the back door in WC 2010, they did not work hard to get there, they could not even qualify for the 2010 nations cup after losing to teams like Sierra Leone). Talking about how many times Nigeria has been to the nations cup; please don't even talk about this one because you will disgrace yourself and your dear bafana bafana.

Tebza: 2010-09-22 11:50

Bafana Bafana has achieved more in the short space since its acceptance into the international arena in comparison to the Chickens of Nigeria. The main problem with Nigeria is that they think winning a game against Bafana is equivalent to winning the tournament be it African Nations Cup or World Cup.

If only you guys can stop age cheating at the youth tournament, Nigeria will become a powerhouse in Africa. Even in South Africa our teams give opportunities to Nigerians to ply their trade in here but only realized that you give soccer age and not the real age. Recent good examples include Chukwu, Ogbonna and the new Pirates strikers whom we are normally told they are under 23.

Guys we love Nigeria and want it to develop and represent the continent but eish, you always disappoint us.

Bafana are on a high beating every tom, dick and harry that comes their way. They know that you need to beat opponents and not just Nigeria

Tebza: 2010-09-22 11:57

Watch Bafana demolish Sierra Leon and Egypt before the end of this year.
We are not going to compare ourselves with Nigeria for we will never progress. Our comparison will be with Egypt ( the cup holders)and it is never a fault that we are in the same group with them. To be the best, you must beat the best and stop playing with mediocre teams like Nigeria.
We will top out group convincingly.
Nkosi sikelela iAfrika

Udeme: 2010-09-22 12:12

@Tebza, you said "The main problem with Nigeria is that they think winning a game against Bafana is equivalent to winning the tournament be it African Nations Cup or World Cup." POINT OF CORRECT; to we Nigerians, winning a game against bafana bafana or banana banana or what ever you call it, is like beating teams like Ethiopia, Equatorial Guinea, Lesotho, Somalia, Sierra Leone etc. Talking about age cheating; you guys paraded a group of old men in your mens u-17 team that recently lost to Burkina Faso. Most of them were playing in big teams there in South Africa. By the way, is Khumalo really 23 years old?

Udeme: 2010-09-22 12:24

@Tebza, does this group looks familiar to you?

Nigeria
South Africa
Sierra Leone
Equatorial Guinea

This is the group that South Africa could not even top to qualify for the 2010 nations cup after losing to teams like Sierra Leone. You guys could not even beat Sierra Leone in your home. I can't stop this comment by including that Nigeria beat South Africa home and away to top this group.

Abie : 2010-09-22 13:23

Da quiz is when did SE last tasted success in major tournament? SE is old dog trying to scare new young dogs clinging 4rom old reputation, da fact is SE wz a power house n new giants hv emerged, egypt n ghana. RSA is an awakening giant hence u cnt resist talking abt it. we shall conquere, watch da space.

The word.: 2010-09-22 13:32

@Ydeme, you are true son of your father unlike all these *******s. to supports your points so far, tell them the only time south africa won the ANC nigeria did not participated due to our withrawer by president abacha. thats the height of nigeria football, with olympics team '96 and usa squad '94. we could have beat south african silly. i remembered what chidi uwanu said"nigeria could have walk to the cup".

Tebza: 2010-09-22 14:20

Nigeria has even disgraced the Good Luck Jonathan who decided to disband the team. What a shame.
Otherwise South Africa is prepared to provide development to your future players but please, provide us with the real young boys not soccer young age. That is the best we can do for our brothers who think they are all that……….. Yes, God bless Nigeria

Philosopher : 2010-09-22 15:07

why must we keep on playing a weaker team like Bayanna Bayanna, even before the game we all know the winner and the loser.

Abie : 2010-09-22 15:42

@ydeme,ma brada, does insults make u feel better? I hv realized that itz a speciality 4 many distructive n uneducated nigerians or those with fake degrees, who cnt debate issues rationally, hence ur country is failing mother Africa despite the potential u hv as da most populous country, look around u n see progresive countries doing africa proud, ghana, senegal, gabon n even botswana. Shame on u nigerians 4 givin west africa a bad reputation in everything.

Garvey: 2010-09-22 15:44

@Udeme - Why waste your time replying someone like Tebza. It's just not worth it.

Abie : 2010-09-22 15:58

@udeme, Bafana bafana-s 1996 triumph will never be eraised in africas football history by ur negative comments, ur absence in the tournament wz ur political choice, it does nt change the fact that RSA were crowned champs, other 15 countries competed, n the tournament wz a success. 4ur info CAF has asked South africa 2be on standby for 2014 or 2016 ANC tournaments, why nt Nigeria?

Tebza: 2010-09-22 16:09

@Udeme - Why waste your time replying someone like Tebza. It's just not worth it.
True Garvey...It is not worth it to be arrogant and fail to look at a debate negatively. The fact of the matter is, Udeme and many African brothers / sisters fail to realise that Nigeria has a potential to be the world beaters but their indulgence and hatred of South Africa ( their mother country) is blinding them to focus on the good that they can have.
As mentioned earlier, South Africa provide opportunities for many Nigerians to ply their trade in here (professionals, academics, soccer players and coaches) for future developments of Nigeria.
No hard feelings, you cannot compare the two.

obi007: 2010-09-22 17:40

My S.A brother's i greet you.The economy of your country maybe better than 9ja's however we have the bragging rights over your country when it comes to football and there is no basis for comparison here.If it were ghanaians, cameroonians and until recently ivoriens and egyptians then i'll understand but you guys haba common.

obi007: 2010-09-22 17:50

@Tebza,pls , 9ja pple ain't haters.

Udeme: 2010-09-22 18:32

@Tebza, @Abie, you South Africans insult Nigerians everyday in this forum but you cannot withstand a little pressure when we reply your comments. We all know the insults that you guys threw at Nigerians when the issue of Nigeria playing South Africa in the Mandela challenge came up. You guys so hate Nigerians. The fact is that, bafana bafana does not have a good record when it comes to playing against Nigeria. The record speaks for itself. The record does not lie.

Udeme: 2010-09-22 19:16

@Abie, you said;
1. "Bafana bafana-s 1996 triumph will never be eraised in africas football history by ur negative comments." Was I wrong when I said that South Africa is the first ever worldcup host to be eliminated in the first round? Or was I wrong when I said that South Africa has a bad football record when it has to do with Nigeria? Infact, South Africa has won the nations cup just once, and they did it on home soil in the absence of Nigeria.

2. "other 15 countries competed, n the tournament." POINT OF CORRECTION; 14 other countries competed in the tournament and not 15. Nigeria did not compete and you know that. This is simple mathematics: 16-1-1=14

3. "4ur info CAF has asked South africa 2be on standby for 2014 or 2016 ANC tournaments, why nt Nigeria?" Ok, the answer to this question is that, CAF knows that South Africa is good at getting to tournaments through the back door thats why they asked them to be on standby. You guys should watch out for Sierra Leone, at the same time, Egypt is mission impossible for you guys.

Abie : 2010-09-22 19:37

@udeme, u guyz honestly cnt stand to see a succesful Bafana bafana, u desire all bad luck n demises 4our team, even going to extend of belittle every achievement, thatz pure jealousy n hatred, i remember our first visit 2 lagos n da second trip later hw our teams were treated, sytematically by ur officials n government, jst because u wntd 2 unsettled da team. Hence we hate nigerians because they dnt like us too. At least here they can enjoy our hospitality.

Abie : 2010-09-22 19:55

@udeme, ur absence in 1996 wz ur choice, dnt make it an excuse 4 ur failure to come, regarding da 14 teams who competed, did they jst lie down n allow bafana to walk over them? Cameroon, algeria, tunisia n ghana were at their pick, and every african journalist expected us to loose n they were disappointed.

Abie : 2010-09-22 21:27

@udeme, we hv played n beaten egypt before even in cairo, as long as we dnt hv a nigerian referee in charge of our games we will win. U ll be disappointed again like in da world cup when u expected da worst bt we manage 2 collect 4 points in very tough group, compared to nigeria which wz in an easy group bt failed to win even one game. Our best is stil to cm. This tym SE will nt hide, they r on a downward spiral.

Udeme: 2010-09-23 03:11

@Abie, hmmmmmmm, I have reviewed your comments and I can see that most of them really do not make any sense. You said;

1. "Shame on u nigerians 4 givin west africa a bad reputation in everything." Ok, I say shame on you South Africans for making it to be written in FIFA's book of history that an African country was the first ever country to be eliminated in the first round in a worldcup tournament since the tournament started in 1930. You guys have given Africa a bad name in football.

2."Cameroon, algeria, tunisia n ghana were at their pick, and every african journalist expected us to loose n they were disappointed." This comment of your does not make sense. You need to do some research before posting your comments. Let me give you a little history lesson. Cameroon, algeria, tunisia n ghana were not at their peak in the 1996 nations cup. Cameroun had just been beaten and disgraced by Russia 6-1 in the 1994 word cup. In 1996, they were struggling. Infact this was Cameroun's worst team. To summarize everything, Algeria was at their peak in 1990, Ghana is on their peak today (not in 1996) but you guys beat their team C. Tunisia was not even that good in 1996.

Udeme: 2010-09-23 07:02

@Abie, My corrections; an African country was the first ever world cup host to be eliminated in the first round.

Udeme: 2010-09-23 07:09

@Abie, you said that South Africa has played and beaten Egypt before even in Cairo. Please can you tell me and everyone in this forum when that happened? What year did that happen? Was it a tournament or what?

Udeme: 2010-09-23 07:44

@Abie, you said that South Africa managed to collect 4 points from a tough group at the worldcup. Hahahahaha. Do you even listen to yourself? Mexico, Uruguay, and a very disorganized France team are tough? Come on. Nigeria has beaten Mexico before. Uruguay could not even withstand Ghana, they had to play handball in order to survive. France team was very disorganized, Nicholas Anelka was sent home, the players were on strike and refused to train, one of the coaches quit, this is just a few examlpes to show you how disorganized the team was. Infact this was one of the easiest groups in the tournament. Even with home advantage, you guys were eliminated from this group and made history by being the first worldcup host to be eliminated in the first round since the tournament started in 1930.

The problem btw south Africans and Nigerias are simply because of Nigerians are better than south Africa in all ways...south Africas are still bush people and you will not blame them they started coming to Johannesburg without visa just 14years ago. So they are still counting anti clock wise instead of clock wise....I will not blame them but our leaders who librated them from the hands of thier white masters. Nigeria is a flop at the age of 50 no problem but b4 south Africa will be 50 it will be a pratical joke...a country with most number of black illiterate. the white south africans are dealing with them scentifically..the loan they took from world bank for eletricity projact was a failure.bcos the project did not work and the blacks south africans bcos they are illiterate and did not know thier left from right, failed to notice that the same project that fail to work in germany was the same project the whites wants do in south african at the end of the day all was waste of resources.
South Africas hate Nigeria bcos they cant attend out height even the 20th generation can't. My fellow Nija brodas u ppl should allow the idiots called south africans to say what ever they want.Upon all the money they waste on thier league they have not been able to win caf champions league only but once.. while country like congo, Nigeria, Ghana have won it more than them. here in Nigeria we don't buy hosting right they give it to us. Nigeria have hosted U21 world cup in 1999 which Spain won and the likes of Xavi and cacillas was there in the tournament. atleast we wasn't eliminated in first round.

AGE CHEAT. south africans are doing age cheat than any country in africa...Bongani Kumalo, mokena, modise, shabalala, all of them are age cheat. they don't do well in soccer simply bcos they dont know how to play soccer. If you want to see the best in south africa you will see it in acohol. The only trophy South African football fedration can boost (SFF) of since 100 years was only nations cup they took from the back door.. they told us not to come bcos we are at our peak when we won olympic.
