Madigage, who cut teeth in professional football as a 16-year-old at Jomo Cosmos is reported to be among names submitted to Safa by Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane as he continues searching for the right man to help him prepare the national team for the Africa Cup of Nations Finals in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon in 2012. According to a source close to SuperSport, the club are already resigned to losing Madigage and are preparing to bring in development coach Kwanele Kopo as the new assistant to Gavin Hunt. "Look Kwanele Kopo is already working with the senior team in anticipation of Thomas moving to join Bafana. We don't know how far the discussions are between SuperSport United and Safa about Tommy joining Bafana but I believe it could happen before the game against Sierra Leone," says the source. Speaking to KickOff.com, Madigage says he would not mind joining Bafana but he has not yet been approached by Safa. "I believe it is everyone's wish at a certain stage of his career to get an opportunity to coach at the highest level. I know there are a lot of people that have had success in their coaching career but never got an opportunity of being in this kind of set up. "I have never spoken to anyone regarding Bafana but should I get that opportunity it will be a great honour for me to serve my country as part of the squad's technical team," he says.

Proudly south african...
No Madigage = No league for SSU, watch the space.
It also goes to show that Jomo has no rival in terms of his contribution to the beautiful game in South Africa. even the current coach and captain are his products. well done Mjomane, please continue with your sterling work, true soccer lovers know that you have contributed morethan you rivals (Kaizer and Khoza) in the beautiful game that a fact. again, numbers do not lie...
My brada your just expressing your stupid jealousy there.Just because Tommy is a SSU man doesnt mean he is not good at his work.We all Know what Pitso and tommy can do when are combined. Please give them a chance or go mind your Father's kraal at nappyrena..Proudly yellow
The question now is who between Tommy and the Brazillian will take up your previous position (ball-boy). We will be watching.
I partially disagree with you there mate, though your statement does not necessarily mean (Kaizer & Khoza) as you put it, have no contributions at all to SA soccer, but it sounds a bit like you running them down a tiny bit.
K & K have their contribution, it may not be in a form of producing massive talents like Bra-Jomo but I think they managed to instill the business side of soccer which allowed others to follow in their foot steps and again preserving their legends or former players not to be lost in the soccer fraternity(I stand to be corrected)
Though I agree with you, most of psl teams if not all consist of one or tow Cosmos cadets who served under Bra-Jomo and now it looks likes the national team may be ran by his former Cadets. If this does not get Bra-Jomo the recognition he deserves I don't know what will, maybe as usual we will wait for his death before we honor him properly. Good Point though Wonder.
As for Thomas, there is not doubt that him and Pitso work very well and they have worked together before, successfully, if it is the formula that will put us back on the map then let it be with all my support.
Are you saying Tommy is a tactician when it comes to fooball or u are referring to some 'sweet' waters or u dont care: wins are wins.I m afraid that sweet waters have their own limitations.
So if Pitso fails on his mandate, he and Tommy will be shown the door leaving the Brazillian to assist the next coach. Mara South Africa!!!!!!!!!!
