Clean bill of health for Mbuyane

Posted: 2010-09-10 09:49

Orlando Pirates are to welcome back striker Thulasizwe Mbuyane when they take on Kaizer Chiefs in the MTN8 Cup semi-final at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.

Mbuyane missed Pirates midweek game against Free State Stars in Johannesburg due to an ankle injury but was back training yesterday.

Speaking to KickOff.com, the former Free State Stars midfielder said the Bucs medical team has given him a clean bill of health and he was ready for action.

"It was a minor injury that I picked up after getting a knock at training this week. I was feeling a bit of pain on my ankle and the medical team didn’t want to risk me playing on Wednsday. I am now 100 percent okay and training with the club."

Bucs are also set to welcome back Malawian striker Chiukepo Msowoya this weekend.

Msowoya also missed Bucs game against Ea Lla Koto after arriving late in the country from his national team duty at the weekend.

winning team for pirates...dnt care abt the back...but mid and front!!!
Klate, Chansa,Jali and Tlou
teko (free role behind the striker and he will show you magic, but not to be seen on his own half, unless there is a free kick or conner)
Msowoya

Though I am not a Pirates fan, I dont think Mbuyani is a Pirate material. Or maybe he is not correctly utilized.... I think he just add numbers at OP.
I dont see him with OP next season........ Thats just my take.

Pirates lacks Identity::: Too much expectations:::Pirates bought many players & Off-load many dis season, there4 it needs to develop an Identity. Instead of expectin quick good Results, it should 1st fight to Find an Identity. so far the team does not have Identity. Krol shud not focus on results, he must focus on Finding Identity. These players r new, & we trying 2 accomodate them. No combination&understandin. We must not has too much expactations from the coach & players for now. " it takes more than a season to find Identity "- Jose Mourinho

Players must firstly understand each other. the team must develop a culture first, then we will judge Krol. it is too early to Judge. we need to develop a new Identity as our starting line-up is different of last season. no wonder krol is clueless. it because of Identity. Chiefs has already an Identity coz they line-up never change from that of last season. So, we cannot expect Pirates to perfom like Chiefs. we mut not expect our players to perfom miracle's. We must be pantient until we find an identity.

Welcome back Juju, you deserve a starting line-up berth tomorrow night. No Mabena please, he lacks composure, urgency, lazy, immature and wastes too many eazy chances.

I AGREE 100%, it can take more than 5yrs, with the same technical team, and changing few players per season, but our teams change 50% of the team every year + the techincal team, that's why they dont even do well in the continent,

Swona Champ!: 2010-09-10 11:55

the only team that does not change a lot per season and fail in the continet is Chiefs and SSU is going that direction!

This Mbuyane guy is no striker. He will cost Krol his job. I wish Krol start mbuyane on Saturday.

sumtyms i hate 2 b a SA soccer fan coz it means i have 2 destroy the spirits of players wen they r off form and change when play well to hail them. Juju wen on form he can mesmarise any defender in da psl, so as Teko. They just need support please!

abo : 2010-09-11 10:40

u know SITHI my man u have a point. we destroy our players here. we put them down,we expect them to be like machines. look at england for example, ROONEY, LAMPARD,GREEN had the worst world cup ever but their supporters showed faith to them. they support them through thick and thin bcoz they know that with that kind of support they will regain their form. In SA we call our players names when they are off form and expect them to bounce back, how? they cant instead they will go down. lets support our players and teams during happy and sad times. other people cant even kick the ball but they are quick to criticize negatively.Teko modise is the most gifted player pirates have at the moment. and i dont know why we cant we support him to regain his form. our team will continue losing if we are letting our star players down. teko u are the best bro.
