Returning Laffor surprised with AWOL report

SuperSport United forward Anthony Laffor has finally arrived back from Liberia and is set to re-join Matsatsantsa tomorrow for training. 

Laffor's late arrival from national team duty where his country was pitted against Zimbabwe in an Afcon qualifier played in Monrovia last weekend has not gone down very well with his coach Gavin Hunt.
 
Hunt earlier today slammed Mamelodi Sundowns claiming that they had approached the former Jomo Cosmos midfielder behind their back and had ‘messed up' the player's mind.
 
Speaking to KickOff.com on his arrival in South Africa, Laffor said his delay in returning to South Africa was due to his flight being cancelled in Monrovia on Monday.
 
"I am very disappointed about the reports that I had gone AWOL. The problem was that the flight that was cancelled in Monrovia on Monday and I only managed to connect to a flight to South Africa yesterday.
 
"The football association of Liberia wrote a letter to SuperSport United and notified them about my delay and I was surprised today when I arrived in South Africa to hear the news that I had disappeared from SuperSport."
 
The Liberian international said he was not aware that Mamelodi Sundowns wanted to sign him before the transfer window period closed on Tuesday last week.
 
"I don't know anything in that regard because it happened when I was not in the country. The only thing I know is that Sundowns wanted me whilst I was still with Jomo Cosmos."

Yah neh!!! Why are those empty loudmouths that had so much to say yesterday so quiet now? Sundowns is not a family fish and CHIPS spaza shop. Bow in front of them and learn. Hunt like De Sa for some obscure reason think that they can hold every one @ their ransome. I don't know whether it comes from their background, achievements or whatever but it is disturbing.

Like when he complained about the re-take of the penalty against Swallows when the first one was already scored and the other 2 his players were visibly encroaching.

Let the guy be sued. Just to reminded that he is still human despite what he has achieved or who he is.

The only thing that is remaining for you to do Mr Gavin "Big Mouth" Hunt is to appologize to Sundowns. Now the player has told you the truth why he did not return in time, what are you saying. Just keep your "Fish Mouth" shut and concetrate on wining the league for the forth time in a row as you have been lying to self about that.

In as much as Hunt is a Big&Bad-Mouth, I would blame the unprofessionalism of Laffor for this one. As a paid professional, all he had to do when he could not fly to SA was to give his club a call to alert them of his pending absence. Moemish!

Hunt once published a negative statement angainst Sh*t during his time at Swallows (when Sh*t won received a controversial penalty to beat swallows (26/02/2003) and the referee sent off Sebona for beating Fabian, when it was Fabian who started the whole thing (Typical Kaizer Sh*t player)). Hunt actually said "You can't beat Chiefs because of who they are." in exact words. The Kaizer Sh*t faithful did not take that well, and we at Sundowns did not interfere while they were criticising Hunt left, right and centre. Why can't they do the same? Paranoia or not we still want Laffour and we are goiung to SIGN him as a free agent. All smart players wait for their contracts to expire these days and join the best of the best.To be the best in Africa we need the best. As for suing Hunt,no need.He is just playing mind games before the derby hence the Pretoria derby is always explosive and hardly produces draws...
