Hunt slams Downs for 'messed up' Laffor

SuperSport United coach Gavin Hunt says he blames Mamelodi Sundowns for Anthony Laffor's current state of mind and will report the Brazilians to the PSL for approaching the player behind their backs. 

Laffor, who was called up by Liberian national team for their African nations Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe in Monrovia last weekend, has still not returned to South Africa and his whereabouts are unknown.
 
Hunt is blaming Sundowns for the player's behaviour after reports emerged that the Brazilians had approached the player in a bid to get his signature before the transfer window closed on August 31.
 
Hunt tells KickOff.com that he will report Sundowns to the PSL for their behaviour in attempting to poach the Liberian international whilst he is still under contract.
 
"He is still not here and we don't know why he has not returned. He is now the captain of Liberian national team and this may have gone into his head. His mind is now messed up and Mamelodi Sundowns are to be blamed for this.
 
"They have approached the player behind the club's back, even though they know he is still contracted to us. This has been going on for a long time and now we need to report Sundowns to the PSL about this," Hunt says.
 
Efforts to get hold of Laffor last night proved futile as his phone was off.

Hunt is possessed, at best maybe mad.

Yesterday Aces were denied a legitimate goal, he is quite about the referee, but had it been SSU, the noise will be deafening.

On the issue of Laffour, if its true that Sundowns want him, then they are crazier than i thought. we have everything and don't need Laffour. but Hunt is confused, he says that Laffour was made captain in Liberia and that is confusing him, then he says its Sundowns, which of the 2 is it coach? jy is mal by die kop wena!!!!!!!

U say he's now Liberian national team captain and at de same time he's nt back bcos Sundowns spoke to him. At Sundowns we dnt advise playas to stay away from their teams like dis other overated has-been team does. Instead of Buying Sangweni, they poached him to stay away from Arrows training. Sundowns' way of conducting business is very disappointing. They did the same with Mphela and Gaxa before and both confessed. @Pirates it was Mdledle and Cheeze and many other players. This is unprofessional and unethical. Thanx God am in no way associated with this team. Saying it is disgusting is an understatement. Mxm

It looks like Hunt is already feeling the preassure, its only a game Hunt take it easy, and be man enough to accept that you're loosing the plot.

All the best to our boys next week when they play against Supersport for our quest to be crowned the champions at the end of this season.

Mr. Hunt, did you bump your head against something hard??? Are saying Downs kidnaped the player in question??? Are saying Downs brainwashed the player??? Downs may have propose business to a player, but he is a grown man, he knows he contracted to SS and he needs to fulfill his contract. His stay away has nothing to do with Sundowns, you need to apply a NO WORK NO PAY policy or whichever way, just deal with your player and leave Downs alone...

This is just a tactic for the next up coming clash, you are trying to distruct us from a job at hand...

Hunt, we are living in the jungle where dog eats dog. Any club can approach a player in a bar/funeral/weeding etc. Downs have been courting Laffor siche his days at Cosmos and you have since one the league twice. So what the f.u.c.k you are talking about.Is it Downs who took Laffor to Liberia....if not why do expect Downs to bring him back. The boy is boozing and its not our fault.

Hunt please, how did you snatch Laffour from Mjomana? In case you forgot players sign pre-contracts before their current contracts expire.You, for one, excels at poaching other teams's players, Laffour is a case in point.Much as it might seem like we do not need Laffour right now, he might just come in handy for the African Champions League.Huntie is only playing mind games,probably building the hype before the Pretoria derby.He does not have a case and he knows it.That game has to live up!
