Mpumalanga Black Aces are set to face SuperSport United in their League match at the Lucas Moripe Stadium today without coach Aki Ayiomamidis due to a delay in receiving his work permit.

Aces are still looking for their first points of the new season after being beaten 1-0 by Platinum Stars at home a fortnight ago.

The news that Ayiomamidis will miss the game against United will certainly not go well with AmaZayoni supporters who expect the team to improve from their last season performance.

Aces' CEO Marc Grune tells KickOff.com that assistant coach Dumisa Ngobe is expected to sit on the bench in the event in the Greek coach fails to get his work permit and register with the PSL before the game today.

"It's the same old news but now we are hoping that with the Home Affairs strike over, we will get the work permit soon."
