Fofana still holed up in Cape Town

Guinea striker Aboubacar Fofana remains holed up in the Mother City training with Ajax Cape Town despite the Urban Warriors having already reached an amicable settlement terminating his contract.
Fofana managed just a single goal at Ajax last season before the club deemed him excess to requirements at the club as a foreign player.
"Fofana is not attached to the club anymore," says George Comitis, the Ajax CEO.
"Even though he is still training with us, he is only doing so to keep fit because we have already settled his contract. It is now up to him to decide what happens from here because he is a free agent after all," adds Comitis.
The 27-year-old was brought in by then coach Muhsin Ertugral at the beginning of last season, but Foppe de Haan has found Fofana unsuitable following the return of Terror Fanteni.
Fofana made just three starts last season which is why Ajax have now discarded him.
