Reigning League champions SuperSport United will be aiming to lift themselves off the foot of the log table when they host Mpumalanga Black Aces at Super Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Kick-off is at 19h30.
SuperSport suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Bidvest Wits in their opening League encounter; a result that sees the three-time champs surprisingly propping up the table.
However, Gavin Hunt's men will probably be in a much better frame of mind coming into this game after a 2-0 win over Orlando Pirates this past weekend in the Mopani Mayor's Charity Cup.
Black Aces also come into this game off the back of a defeat.
They went down 3-2 at home to Platinum Stars in a game in which they twice held the lead and conceded an injury-time goal.
AmaZayoni, with their virtually all-new team, are still finding their feet but will hope that a game against the defending champs galvanises them into a cohesive unit.
Head-to-head stats show that United and Aces have met 14 times in the League since 1990 (back when SuperSport were still known as Pretoria City).
AmaZayoni have won seven games to Matsatsantsa's three. Yet the Mpumalanga side's last win over their Pretoria counterparts came way back in 1994.
At home, Aces have lost just once to SuperSport in seven meetings.
Last season, United handed Aces three heavy defeats in their two League games and one Cup encounter.
SuperSport won 5-0 away and 3-0 at home in League matches, and 5-1 away in the first round of the Telkom Knockout Cup.
What do you think the score will be between the two sides?
