Work permit problem persists

Moroka Swallows Zimbabwean midfielder Oscar Machapa is one of a number of frustrated foreign players still battling to get their work permits.

The former Caps United midfielder has already missed two games for the Dube Birds since the new League season kicked off last month.

Machapa is now crossing his fingers that his papers are sorted out before they play Ajax Cape Town at Dobsonville Stadium on Wednesday.

"My work permit is not sorted out and I am becoming a little bit frustrated because I have been without competitive action too long. I am desperate to play and help my team do well so I'm hoping and praying that the issue of the work permit is sorted out soon."

Another foreign player still struggling with his work permit is Mpumalanga Black Aces and Ugandan national team goalkeeper Denis Onyango who confirmed to KickOff.com last night that he too had still not received his papers.
