Chiukepo helps Malawi draw

Orlando Pirates new signing, Chiukepo Msowoya, once again lived up to his reputation as a man for the big stage when he scored for Malawi as they drew 2-2 in Tunisia in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations Group K qualifier.

With the Malawi trailing 2-0, Msowoya pulled one back in the 44th minute at November Stadium in Rades before Jomo Cosmos former striker, Esau Kanyenda grabbed the leveller from the penalty spot in the 84th minute.

It was Msowoya's first goal in two matches for this Nations Cup campaign having been Malawi's leading scorer in the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Malawi suffered a set-back when they not only conceded two quick goals through Tunisia's Issam Jemma of FC Lens but the visitors also had ex-Moroka Swallows midfielder, Hellings Mwakasungula sent off for a second bookable offence on the stroke of half time.

Malawi featured other South Africa-based players including captain Peter Mponda of Santos, Hannover FC's target Fischer Kondowe, Dynamos' Allan Kamanga and goalkeeper Swadick Sanudi from African Warriors.

The third back-to-back draw left Malawi third in the group with three points while Tunisia are second on four points and Botswana lead with 10 points having beaten Togo 2-1 in another match for the group.

This Msowoya guy is a real deal. If Pirates dont win the Top8, Krol must go, krol has all the matirial required to win the league. The Top8 is his biggest test. If he fails there, then thats it.

Here is the man (Msowoya)who should play week-in and week-out as the main striker for Orlando Pirates, not Mabena...

KO never ceases to shock me. It's a cut and paste story once again. Their heading contradict the contents of the story very dissmal. On the heading it's a win for 'The Flames' while on the contents it's a draw...where is the truth about the results of this game?

Eish maan...don't be suprised to see the sale of your magazine going down like SL...the reason will be identical...inaccurate reporting.

Eish!!! Krol is spoiled for choice. How is he going to leave Oturogo on the bench? We have to eat Kaizer Fish and Chips on Saturday.
