Ghana defender John Paintsil admits the Black Stars have very little knowledge about their Swaziland opponents but insist that will not affect the urgency they attach to Sunday's Nations Cup qualifier.

The Fulham right back joined up with the side on Wednesday and is banking on his side to take all three points as the continent's national teams begin the tussle for places at the 2012 Cup of Nations.

Paintsil is gunning for his fouth Nations Cup appearance in a fine Ghana career so far and says it is fundamental that they begin with a win on Sunday.

He told KickOffGhana.com: "We are coming off a high after the world cup and then afterwards defeat to South Africa in friendly but with all due to respect this will matter more and we have to show in this game all over again that we can rise to the challenge.

"I don't know much about the Swazis but they will be playing at home, they will know the pitch better and they will have the crowd behind them. We will also show them maximum respect because these days whether you are playing against a ladies team or a school team, you simply have to put on your best show."
